Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
LEADER: International Journal of Business Management is a premier electronic double-blind peer-reviewed journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. To ensure the integrity and quality of our publications, we adhere to the following principles:
Duties of Editors
Fair Review: Editors must ensure a fair double-blind peer-review process for all submitted articles. They must work to avoid any conflicts of interest between authors and editorial or review personnel.
Confidentiality: All information related to submitted manuscripts must be kept confidential before publication.
Coordination: The Editor-in-Chief will oversee and coordinate the editorial process, ensuring adherence to ethical standards.
Duties of Reviewers
Objective Evaluation: Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts based solely on content and not on the author’s ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, religious belief, or political philosophy.
Confidentiality: Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of all information related to submitted manuscripts and report any suspected plagiarism or copyright infringement to the Editor-in-Chief.
Competence: Reviewers who feel unqualified to review a manuscript or who cannot complete the review in a timely manner should notify the Editor-in-Chief and withdraw from the process.
Duties of Authors
Reporting Standards: Authors must present an accurate account of their work and provide sufficient detail to allow replication. Fraudulent or misleading statements are considered unethical.
Data Access and Retention: Authors should provide raw data for editorial review and be prepared to offer public access to this data where possible. Data should be retained for a reasonable period after publication.
Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure their work is original and appropriately cite any sources or quotations from others.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication: Authors should not publish the same research in multiple journals or submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
Acknowledgment of Sources: Proper acknowledgment of others’ work is required. Influential publications should be cited.
Authorship: Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the work. All contributors should be listed, and all co-authors must approve the final manuscript and its submission.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects: Any unusual hazards or ethical concerns related to chemicals, procedures, or the use of human or animal subjects must be clearly identified. Ethical committee approval must be provided if applicable.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence their research. All sources of funding should be disclosed.
Correction of Errors: Authors are responsible for notifying the journal of significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work and cooperating with the editor to correct or retract the paper.
